List your farm free

If you own a small grazing farm or homestead and want the right person on it, to buy it, lease it, or look after it, tell us about it. Listing is free, and it stays free.

What's welcome

  • Sales, including seller financing.
  • Leases and lease-to-own.
  • Owners looking for a farmer.
  • Caretaker and work-trade arrangements.
  • Stays of one to six months, from work-trade up to a guest ranch.

Every farm on the list has to grow grass, and has water you can use. It doesn't need a house, but we'll say plainly whether one can be built.

What we publish

  • The land and the terms, in our own words.
  • The facts on the water, the grass, the power, the house, and the hazards.
  • Photos you give us permission to use, credited to you.
  • A link to your own listing, if you have one, and the date we last checked.

What we never do

  • Charge you, or anyone who answers, for an introduction, a match, a lease, a stay, or a sale.
  • Take a commission.
  • Describe people. We write about the land and the terms.

Email farms@venturopoly.com with where the farm is, its size, the deal you have in mind, and a link or a few photos. We'll reply with a few questions and publish only what you approve.
