What we keep
- Your email address.
- Your answers, if you give them: how you'd use a farm, whether you want a house or land to build on, and whether at home or abroad.
- The country your connection comes from, and where you signed up.
- When you signed up and confirmed, and whether our emails reach you.
We don't ask for your name. There are no advertising trackers on this site.
On the pages with a signup form, we count visits and how many people start the form, by page and by the link that brought them. That count uses no cookies and nothing that says who you are.
If you talk to the V-Farms AI on the Contact or Owners page, we keep what you say or type to it and what it answers, with any email or farm details you give it, so we can reply. If you're signed in, the conversation goes with your account. Talking to it never adds you to our email list.
We also note which farms you open from our weekly emails and the members' page, with your list entry. It tells us which kinds of farms readers want, so we know what to research next. We don't sell it or share it.
Why
To send you V-Farms email, and to choose farms that fit what readers are looking for. Nothing else.
Who handles it
- Cloudflare hosts this site.
- Supabase holds the list and member accounts, in one database with Farm Steward, our farm records app.
- Stripe handles membership payments. We never see your card.
- Resend delivers our emails.
- ElevenLabs runs the V-Farms AI. It turns your voice into text and the answers into speech, and keeps a record of each conversation in our account.
- Each new signup, and each conversation with the AI, sends a short notice to the V-Farms team's private chat.
We never sell your information or share it with anyone else.
Your choices
- Every email has an unsubscribe link, and it works with one click.
- To have your record deleted, or to see what we keep, write to farms@venturopoly.com.
